Mom guilt – it’s a universal experience that plagues many mothers, myself included. As we navigate the complexities of raising children while pursuing our professional aspirations, the weight of guilt often looms large. It’s a relentless predator, lurking in the shadows of our minds, ready to pounce at any moment.

Juggling the demands of motherhood and a career can feel like a never-ending tug-of-war. On one hand, we strive to excel in our professional endeavors, while on the other, we yearn to cherish every precious moment with our families. Ask yourself if you showed up for the things that are important in your life, whether it’s attending your child’s performance or meeting a work deadline. Celebrate the small victories and let go of the guilt that weighs you down.

Practice Self-Compassion:

Above all, be kind to yourself. Recognize that you’re doing the best you can with the resources and circumstances available to you. Remind yourself that it’s okay to ask for help and seek support when needed. You are a great mom, and your best is always enough.
