The Never Ending Balancing Act for Working Moms

To my ladies juggling your career & family:

Do you find while you are succeeding in one, you are failing in the other?

Please know that no matter how good life may look, none of us have it all together, all the time!

If you struggle with getting dinner on the table, running errands, keeping up with endless amounts of laundry (don’t even get me started on this one) or just about everything home related, I’m here for you.

As working women, it’s safe to say that we all face struggles balancing career and family life, which is why I’ve come up with strategic systems that I know I can rely on.

Use these 7 helpful tips to make your life run smoother and more efficiently:

👜 Are you doing it all? As women, we often carry the majority of the household duties, and this is simply outdated and unrealistic! Enlist help from your husband and kids. Even your little kids can clear their plates, put away their toys, etc.

👜 Hire help if no one is able to help you at home (this is for those of you who have it in your budget)

👜Cut corners at dinner (I mean, this one has saved me hundreds of hours). The crockpot can be your best friend with a jar of salsa and chicken, making easy shredded tacos for dinner. I love the rice cooker for rice, quinoa and oatmeal, which saves you from having to watch the stove.

👜 At work, set timers for your projects and focus until you are done. You will be so surprised how much you can get done in 30 minutes of uninterrupted time.

👜 Always have a to do list and do what is absolutely necessary, then if you have to, put off the nice to do’s for later.

👜 Schedule time for your projects or errands so you commit to doing them.

👜Give yourself some grace, you cannot do it all or have it all at once and something has to give. Have patience with yourself and things will be easier.

Tell me in the comments which of these tips would help you the most!
